🎶💕 Valentine’s Day Sock Hop Parties! 💕🎶

Get ready to twist, shout, and dance the day away! On February 14th, classes will head to the gym for a sock hop-themed Valentine’s Day party with the amazing DJ Chris spinning fun tunes. Each class will enjoy music, dancing, and festive fun!

It’s a blast from the past, so grab your dancing shoes (or socks!) and get ready to celebrate in true ‘50s style.

🎲 Game Night at Highland Park Elementary 🎲

Join us on January 16th from 6-7 p.m. for an exciting evening of games! Families are invited to come and enjoy a wide variety of games set up for all ages and interests. After the event, all games will be donated to the school, providing fun indoor activities for students during recess and more!

Stay tuned for donation details, as we’ll soon be asking for new or gently used games (please ensure all pieces are included and in good condition).

Come out for a night of family fun and help stock our game shelves for a playful year ahead!

Veterans Day Breakfast and Assembly on November 15th!

HPE students are welcome to bring a veteran guest and join us as we honor and celebrate them at our Veterans Day Breakfast and Assembly on November 15th! 🥞 We’ll be serving a delicious breakfast followed by an assembly to recognize the bravery and sacrifices of our service members. The breakfast and assembly will occur from 8:00am to 9:25am. Students and their guests may arrive by 7:50am.

We look forward to seeing you there as we pay tribute to those who have served! 🌟 Flyers will be sent home with students soon and you can RSVP here (RSVPs closed Nov 6th, link has been removed). Please make sure to RSVP by November 6th.

📚 PTA Meeting on November 12th in the Library! 📚

Join us for our PTA meeting on November 12th as we reflect on our recent events, including parent-teacher conferences, fall parties, Trunk or Treat, and our clothing drive. 🥳 We’ll also discuss other fundraisers and what’s next for our school community.

Looking ahead, we’ll be finalizing plans for Veterans Day and the coat drive, so your input is valuable! 🌟

🎃 Get ready for a spooktacular evening of fun at our annual Trunk or Treat event! 🧙‍♀️ Join us on October 30th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm for a night filled with thrills, chills, and plenty of treats! 🍬

🎶 We’ll have a DJ spinning some spooky tunes to keep the party going, and our parking lot will be transformed with creatively decorated trunks that are sure to impress! 🚗✨ Bring the whole family for games, candy, and lots of Halloween fun.

👻 Don’t forget to wear your costumes and come ready to enjoy a night of tricks, treats, and memories to last a lifetime. We can’t wait to see you there!

Culver's Night: Enjoy Dinner with Your Teachers! 🍔🍟

We’re excited to invite you to Culver's Night on Tuesday, October 8th! This is a special evening where you can enjoy a delicious meal and hang out with some of your favorite teachers outside the classroom.

Additional details on times will be posted once we know about them. But plan to attend and keep an eye out—you might spot your teacher helping out behind the counter! It’s a fun way to support our school while enjoying a family night out.

🍂👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This is our main fall fundraiser! We are looking to raise money for all kinds of PTA sponsored initiatives including:

• Indoor recess games and equipment

• Gym mats for P.E.

• Field trip funding

• Inflatables for field day

• Food and treats for students during standardized testing dates
