Donation Drive: May 18th Let's finish off the month with a bang! On May 18th from 9:00AM to 10:30AM, we're hosting a Donation Drive right here in the school parking lot. It's the perfect opportunity to declutter your home while supporting our school community. From clothes and bedding to kitchen supplies and knick-knacks, we'll gladly take it all! Plus, for every pound donated, the school receives 20-24 cents, helping us fund future PTA events, field trips, and more. Mark your calendars and start gathering your donations!

We are looking for help to provide our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders with MAP testing snacks! All donations will be counted and distributed equally between all the upper grade levels throughout MAP testing days! We ask that all snacks be brought to HPE no later than MONDAY APRIL 15th! Please have your student bring the donation to the HPE front office and place in the "MAP snack donation box!!"

Donations Needed to Support Our Teachers During Parent-Teacher Conferences
As we gear up for the upcoming parent-teacher conferences, we are seeking your support to ensure our hardworking teachers are well taken care of during this busy time. We are looking for donations of meals, snacks, drinks, and other essentials that will help our teachers stay energized and focused throughout the long conference days. Your contributions will make a significant difference and show our teachers just how much we appreciate their dedication to our children's education.
To sign up for donations, please click here. If you are bringing drinks, desserts, gift cards, or snacks, please drop off your donation at the front office by Monday, October 23rd. For breakfast donations, please make sure they are at the front office by 7:00AM on Wednesday, October 25th. Don't forget to label your utensils and dishes with your name so they can be returned to your family.
We recognize that everyone's schedule and abilities to contribute may differ. That's why we have made it convenient for you to support our events through gift card donations, in case cooking up something from scratch is not feasible for you at the moment. It's an exciting time as we start a new school year, and we really appreciate your input. We are deeply grateful for each and every family who has chosen to be a part of our PTA, as together we strive to create a nurturing and inspiring environment for our students. This is an incredible achievement and demonstrates the dedication and commitment we all have towards our school.
We'd like to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Kasper's class for their outstanding efforts in winning the pizza party donated by Johnny's Tavern, with an impressive membership percentage of 89%!
And it’s still not too late! If you haven't joined the PTA yet, we urge you to do so. Your membership helps us fund important resources and programs for our students. We also encourage you to attend our meetings and provide your valuable input to further enrich our school community (no volunteer work required ;-)).
We hope you had a fun and sunny summer break! The Highland Park Elementary PTA Board has been meeting over the summer to plan an exciting school year with lots of events for everyone.
